About Marko
Music pedagogy is not just my profession; it is my profound nature.
I started playing the violin at age 5, and by the time I was 12, I was already assisting my mother—a professional violinist—by guiding her own students. Today, I put over 28 years of uninterrupted pedagogical experience at your service.
The violin is a demanding instrument, but learning it should never be a struggle. Unlike the traditional academic system, which often forces the student to adapt to the teacher, my philosophy is the exact opposite: I adapt entirely to you, your morphology, and your pace.
My approach merges four great lineages to forge a tailor-made, painless, and high-performance technique for you, coupled with a deep sense of empathy and warmth:
• The rigor of the Russian school for absolute technical precision.
• The tonal warmth of the Czech school for authentic, deeply moving expressivity.
• The intensity of the Spanish school for the passionate expression of your sensitivity.
• The efficiency of the American school for the elimination of physical tension through applied biomechanics.
My goal is not only to pass on flawless technique. It is to offer you an empathetic gaze that restores your confidence, unlocks your expressivity, and allows you to craft the purest, most personal sound possible.

The Myth of In-Person Lessons and the Excellence of the Online Format
Many mistakenly believe that the violin can only be learned in person. This is a myth. Backed by my international experience with students from over 15 countries (ranging from 4 to 75 years old), I have developed and refined an incredibly effective online methodology.
Far from being a "default" format, digital teaching allows us to focus with surgical precision on biomechanical and visual analysis. It works exceptionally well for the vast majority of profiles, often delivering superior and faster results thanks to an environment free of direct physical pressure.
The Neurobiology of Learning and Stress-Free Playing
Playing the violin is immensely complex. Faced with this difficulty, a student's nervous system often goes on high alert (the fight-flight-freeze mechanism). Under the influence of stress and cortisol, information gets trapped in short-term memory, leading to frustration, short repetition cycles, and almost immediate forgetting.
I have developed my own methodology to short-circuit this mechanism. In a deeply relaxed environment, we work on breathing, attentional focus, and fine psychomotor skills with the violin. By defusing anxiety, your brain organically assimilates top-tier concepts and physical gestures, anchoring them directly into your long-term memory.
Somatic and Emotional Balance
The key is to divert your attention away from your usual technical blocks by focusing on precise somatic (physical) and emotional sensations. We prevent your mind from over-thinking.
The learning of pure technique happens almost without you noticing: the information simply 'sinks in' on its own.
My 3 Teaching Formats:
My pedagogical ecosystem is designed to adapt to your ambitions:
1. The Digital Clinic (Online Lesson Format - 30€/h)
Special launch rate. A highly precise biomechanical and musical analysis via webcam in a lesson format. Ideal for regular guidance and building solid foundations from home, without frustration. (Requires a good internet connection, clear lighting, and a decent microphone).
2. The Burgundy Immersion (Intensive Retreat - Custom quote / Starting at 160€)
The ultimate experience for rapid breakthroughs. You take the train (a direct 1-hour ride from Paris Bercy/Gare de Lyon) and I pick you up personally at the Sens station. The work takes place in a bright, 50m² eco-friendly open space that I carefully built myself, overlooking the forest.
• Solo Format: A half-day or full-day session calibrated specifically around your technical blocks.
• Duo Format: A full day for 2 students. One works while the other observes, and vice versa. An incredibly powerful dynamic of cross-listening and analysis.
Extended International Immersions
For international students traveling from abroad, I am open to designing extended, multi-day intensive retreats upon request. These deep-immersion programs are tailored to your specific technical needs, availability, and travel logistics, and are subject to prior agreement and a custom quote.
3. Paris Intra-muros Masterclass (At Your Home in Paris - 85€/h)
An exclusive, premium format. I travel directly to your home in Paris for top-tier, tailor-made coaching, audition preparation, or the diagnosis/treatment of a specific issue in person. (Extremely limited availability).

Marko is a very skilled, patient, and caring teacher.
Our son has been taking violin lessons with him since he was 6 years old, and they have built a relationship that keeps him motivated to keep practicing and improving.
I highly recommend Marko, who is also a charming and very interesting person.Hi, Marko teaches violin to my 9 year's old son for three years, following Suzuki's method. As a violonist and a person, he is a great teacher. He knows how to create the right conditions, with both expectations and kindliness, in order to lead to progress and love of music.
Marko is a very patient teacher, always encouraging and attentive. He knows how to make his students feel comfortable, build their confidence, and motivate them to improve.
During all these years at the Conservatory, he has helped me both musically and technically. He taught me how to work seriously, pay attention to detail, and improve step by step, always in a positive and supportive atmosphere.
But most importantly, he passed on to me a real love for music and for playing the violin.I have known Marco for almost 8 years, when I started my violin lessons. He is a competent teacher, very attentive and responsive. The methodology with which he teaches allows students to easily perceive and master all the difficulties without stress. Each musical phrase is analyzed, explained in detail both in terms of sound and technique. I am not young, but, thanks to Marco, I learn new things every time and play with pleasure. He also teaches my 6-year-old granddaughter with a lot of patience and attention. I highly recommend him
Some academic teachers require students to adapt to them and to the pace they impose. Markò does the opposite: he adapts to the student.
Technical learning is only one part of teaching. Markò also works on expression, expressivity and artistic sensitivity, whatever the level.
Having started the violin at the age of 53, I needed that support and his kind, encouraging attention, which builds confidence.
This approach makes the student-teacher relationship flow more naturally and brings greater enjoyment to every lesson.
In short, I would not change teacher for anything in the world..Marko is an atypical teacher, I never played an instrument before, and he gave me very little but at the same time very powerful advices so I could play from the very beginning the violin and enjoy it. ! I still improving with him and I feel grateful to take his classes.
Marko is an exceptional teacher. He adapts his teaching to the student. It brings a considerable help in terms of self-confidence. He shows patience and kindness. You learn not only the violin but also about yourself. I absolutely recommend this amazing teacher.
Violin playing combines subtle emotion and a refined intellect expressed by means of highly sophisticated psycho-motor coordination. Marko is a patient, attentive guide along the journey to learning this process. Playing with him is a matter of discovery. All levels of students stand to gain by his teaching.
I had a wonderful experience receiving violin classes from Marko. He is a very knowledgeable, patient and caring teacher. Marko's methodology is very precise and holistic and he always ensured I find joy in what I am playing. Best violin teacher I have ever had. Highly recommended!
Through many years of experience, Marko has developed a great sensibility and empathy with his pupils. Trying to give always his best, he focuses on specific issues and solve them with masterly. He also has great adaptation skills that allow him to understand every individual student. I absolutely reccomend this teacher. He really helped me going forward through my objectives.
