About James
An entrepreneurial drug designer. I hold a 1st class BSc and Master's degree in medicinal chemistry. I was a BHF CRE Medicinal Chemistry scholar (DPhil) at the University of Oxford, in which I won awards in all years during my PhD. I was a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University in drug development before returning to Oxford where I was a science lead/junior academic. During my academic journey I have trained multiple students (A-level, undergraduate and postgraduate) from all different backgrounds in a broad range of scientific disciplines. I have real passion for seeing students develop and grow. I've developed an appreciation of how everyone learns differently and that the best way to grasp new information is through a personalised template built around the student's personality and mindset.
