About Randy
Over the years, I've learned that teaching is not only about sharing knowledge but also about understanding each student's needs. Every learner has a different starting point, and I enjoy helping them move forward step by step.
I have a Bachelor of Music and 9 years of experience teaching children and adult learners. These experiences have helped me become more patient and flexible in the way I explain techniques.
I love seeing students achieve things they once thought were difficult. My aim is to make violin learning enjoyable while helping students build confidence, develop their skills, and continue making music with happiness.

My violin lessons are designed to help students build strong foundations while enjoying the music they create. I focus on making each technique easy to understand, giving students enough time to practise and improve without feeling rushed.
We'll work on posture, bow hold, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, vibrato, shifting, ear training, tone production, sight reading, and performance skills. Through exercises, musical pieces, and guided practice, you'll gradually develop better control and confidence with the instrument.
Regular lesson reviews and clear practice goals help you stay focused on your progress. As your skills develop, you'll notice improvements in your sound, technique, and confidence while enjoying your violin journey.
