About Oliver
I was raised in a creative household by world-renowned fine artist Oliver B. Johnson Jr., whose passion for visual storytelling and mastery of fine art deeply shaped my own artistic journey. Growing up surrounded by canvases, sketchbooks, and studio life, I developed a strong foundation in traditional drawing techniques and an appreciation for artistic discipline and expression. While my style evolved toward the bold, narrative-driven world of American superhero comics, my roots in fine art continue to inform my sense of composition, form, and creativity. Today, I blend those influences to inspire students—teaching them not only how to draw, but how to tell powerful visual stories with confidence and style.
