About Aimee
I am an enthusiastic flute tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, having successfully taught over 150 students of varying levels. My teaching approach balances technical mastery with musical expression, ensuring that students not only play accurately but also develop their own style.
I focus on individualised instruction, adjusting my methods to suit each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals. Lessons are designed to be practical, engaging, and interactive, incorporating exercises, classical and contemporary pieces, and improvisational activities.
I also emphasise performance readiness, helping students prepare for recitals, exams, and competitions while boosting confidence and stage presence.

Collaboration is integral to my approach. Students are encouraged to participate in duets, group sessions, and interactive workshops, which strengthens their musicality, timing, and confidence. Positivity guides every lesson — celebrating progress and turning challenges into constructive learning opportunities.
In addition to flute performance, I teach complementary subjects such as music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to provide a comprehensive understanding of music.
