About Juditte (Nthabiseng)
As a Professional Tutor and Educator for more than 30 years, I value and respect individuality, and thus I inspire, motivate, stimulate, and challenge students of all ages. I am passionate about people as holistic beings and I believe that everyone has the potential to flourish and succeed. I keep up with the latest research and methodology. I use audio-visual and kinesthetic media, and songs, dramatization, movement, puppets & stories. I include Brain Gym / Mind Moves in my lessons. For reading, writing, and spelling, I apply the internationally successful Phono-Graphix method. In the case of emotional or other barriers to learning, I use my expertise and 20+ years’ experience as an Internationally Accredited and Recommended Practitioner of The Journey Method and Conscious Classroom (Brandon Bays). Experience: in South Africa: from Pre-school to grade 12: GDE and Private, Mainstream and Neuro-divergent students (Dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, on the (Autistic) Spectrum, "Physically disabled", and LSEN learners). Qualifications: B.A. degree with English, French, Afrikaans & Dutch, Philosophy, Classical Culture. Two post-graduate teaching diplomas: 1. Secondary School with English and French as specialist subjects 2. Pre-primary School) 12 years experience as teacher and principal of a GDE school Other: DALF & other French diplomas. I'm interested in the learner as a holistic being and I believe that everyone has the potential to succeed. I keep up with the latest research and methodology. I use audio-visual and kinesthetic media, and songs, movement, puppets, stories & drama in my teaching. I start every session with a few minutes of Brain Gym / Mind Moves. When teaching reading and spelling, the Phono-Graphix method (Read for Africa) guarantees success. When there are emotional barriers to learning, I can do The Journey Method (Brandon Bays accredited practitioner since 2005).
