About Maryan
As mentioned earlier, I have been a competitive swimmer since I was 6 years old (currently 20 years old now) and have been swimming on swim teams such as Darien YMCA Piranhas, Chelsea Piers, and now swim at Babson College. I was captain at my varsity high school swim team and am a former swimmer at Babson College swimming the butterfly and freestyle mid distance

I have a been a swimmer at Darien YMCA Piranhas and Chelsea Piers. I have been a competitive swimmer for 13 years and am swimming at Babson College. I have been a private swim instructor for 3 summers now teaching from ages 3+. I am CPR and Lifeguard certified as well. I will personalize lessons based on the swimmers goals and needs. First lesson always consist on seeing how the person swims and then going from there. I incorporate games and always ensure water safety. My goal is for the swimmer to not only learn and better their swimming technique but also being confident in the water!
