About Crystal
I am a seasoned teacher and fashion designer with a great love for children and art. After graduating college in 2014, I ran my own clothing company as the head designer for my business, Crissy Lanette Designs, for 6 years. I designed custom clothing for clients from a sketch to the finished garment .and everything in between. I can answer your questions about the fashion industry while teaching you everything you need to know about creating garments. I now currently work as an elementary school teacher and fashion tutor.

My lessons are offered in-person and they vary based on your current goals. They are suitable for anyone aged 7 and up (child and adult lessons are available). If you are a person with no sewing knowledge, we will start out with the basics (sewing machine components, fabric types, basic sewing techniques, basic garment creation). For those with experience that want to go to the next level, I also offer advanced sewing techniques (tailored looks, pattern making, draping, etc). Last but not least, I can also help in the creation of specific garments or school assignments that you need help with. Sewing machine can be provided by me or we can use student's machine.
In addition to having over 15 years of fashion experience, I also have experience as a classroom teacher. I not only have the knowledge, but also know how to effectively teach it.
