About Erika
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion from Savannah College of Art and Design. I worked as a womenswear designer in New York and Los Angeles before moving back to Georgia to raise my daughter. I love drawing and making, and I want to share that love with others.

I think everyone should have basic sewing skills. We live in a world where the norm is mass-produced clothes and household items that are more or less disposable. My hope is that people will return to an appreciation for quality and longevity in our possessions.
One way we can do that is to learn to repair and mend things, improve them, or even make our own creations. I will tailor lessons to your personal goals. Whether you're just learning to thread your machine or you want to tackle more advanced techniques, I can guide you.
I also love to work with creative children who have an interest in fashion and art. I can give kids ages 8-18 the foundation they need to later pursue a career in fashion. These lessons would include trend studies, fabric and fibers education, sketching and illustration , garment construction, and more.
