About Solo

Growing up I'd always be fascinated by the different styles my mother would dabble in and the spark for my Fashion journey would motion...in primary school I'd go through magazines and fashion shows on TV trying to figure out the creativity of fashion styling, making me fall in love with the field of work on a much personal level... It was not until high school whereby I was able to take a step further in my obsession towards fashion...creating multiple outfits from a limited wardrobe, curating a fashion brand with a friend, helping organize modeling events at school and the love grew at high speeds... But as I worked in the industry, I realized that I wanted to share my knowledge and experience with up-and-coming creatives to pave a bright future for them in the fashion industry. I remember helping style a free promo at Relay Jeans a few years ago and I got to interact with more creatives and tap into different and unknown spaces that helped me grow... Teaching fashion styling isn't just about imparting technical skills but it's about empowering students to find their own unique voice and aesthetic. It's about helping them develop the confidence to take risks, experiment with new ideas, and push the boundaries of fashion to its greater peak... For me teaching fashion styling is a way to share my passion (obsession) and expertise with the next generation of fashion leaders. I'm excited to inspire, motivate, and guide my students on their own fashion journeys, and to see the incredible things they bring into life.
