About Nicole
My name is Nicole de Meneses I am a freelance writer, director, producer working in the Bay Area. I make independent genre films that allow LGBTQ+ characters to be the heroes and villains of their own stories. I also run the Blood & Popcorn Film Festival in Oakland. I'm currently getting my MFA in TV & Screenwriting from Stephens College.

My films have screened internationally and won awards. My short films and feature film have been distributed and our on several platforms. I have experience working on union and non union productions. Navigating working with actors and hiring crew can be a daunting process, I will walk you through each task step by step and share the best prep and post practices to keep your film on track to have its best life.
