About Jessica
Hi I’m Jess!
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and am currently completing my Master’s in Counseling Psychology. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to figure out what you want to do with your future, especially when there seems to be pressure to have everything figured out so early. I’ve been in that position myself, and I understand how difficult it can be to sort through so many possibilities.
I’m a naturally curious, patient, and supportive person who genuinely enjoys helping others work through ideas and discover what feels right for them. My background in science, combined with my current counseling studies, has strengthened my communication, listening, and critical-thinking skills. I want to provide the kind of supportive space I would have appreciated when I was trying to navigate these decisions myself.

Every student is starting from a different place, so I would tailor our sessions to you and what you need. We would begin by getting to know your interests, strengths, goals, current ideas, and even the things you know you don’t want. From there, we can explore potential fields and educational paths using a strengths-based approach, identifying what interests and energizes you and what environments might suit you.
I can help you organize your thoughts, compare different programs or career directions, and visually map out your options so they feel less overwhelming. We can gradually narrow down possibilities rather than feeling like you have to choose your entire future at once. Each session can build on what we discover together, with the goal of leaving you with greater clarity, realistic options, and manageable next steps!
