About Khadeeja

I'm Khadeeja fazna Bahira, a female Quran and Islamic Studies teacher with 3+ years of teaching experience. I teach Quran online in a patient, structured and personalised way, helping students improve not only their recitation but also their relationship with the Quran.

My teaching approach

I don't believe every student should learn in exactly the same way.

I first understand the student's current level, goals and learning pace, and then create a personalised plan.

For Hifdh students, lessons include ew memorisation + correction + regular revision so that memorised portions remain strong.

For Tajweed students, I focus on practical correction of pronunciation repition and recitation, rather than only teaching rules theoretically.

For younger students, I keep lessons interactive and encouraging by following structured syllabus while maintaining clear learning goals.

My aim is to help students become confident Quran readers and consistent learners, while developing love and respect for the Quran.

The first lesson is a chance for us to understand your child's current level, discuss your goals and create a suitable learning plan.

I look forward to helping your child grow with the Quran, in shaa Allah.

About the lesson

Personalised Quran Lessons for Children & Girls

Each lesson is planned according to the student's age, current Quran level and personal goals. My aim is not just to help students complete a lesson, but to help them develop correct recitation, consistency and a love for the Quran

Depending on the student's needs, lessons can include:

Quran Reading & Tajweed

* Qaida noorani: Correct pronunciation of Arabic letters and words
* Tajweed rules explained simply
* Guided recitation and correction
* Regular practice to build confidence and accuracy

Hifdh (Quran Memorisation)

* New memorisation according to the student's capacity
* Daily/weekly revision
* Recitation correction
* A structured revision system to strengthen previously memorised portions

Tafseer & Understanding

* Simple explanation of selected Surahs
* Vocabulary and meanings
* Key lessons and reflections
* Juz amma,7 important surahs.

For younger students
Lessons are kept engaging and age-appropriate, using questions, repetition, visual resources and activities where suitable.

How a typical lesson works

1. Revision— Review previously learned material
2. New learning — Introduce the day's Quran/Tajweed/Hifdh goal
3. Guided practice — Student practises with my support
4. Correction — Identify and correct mistakes
5. Recap & homework — Set a small, achievable goal for the next lesson

I believe every student learns differently, so the pace and lesson plan are adjusted according to their needs.
