About Colette
I've been doing country swing for three years now, teaching it for two. My dance partner and I were presidents of my school's swing club this last school year, which involved teaching the classes, choreography, organizing performances, and managing the club. I love teaching and sharing the fun of swing dance with everyone who wants to learn.

Country swing is one of the most versatile and beneficial forms of dance, as it's hugely social, teaches balance and trust, and like any physical activity, is good exercise.
A typical lesson would look like:
- A brief but efficient warm-up
- Work in basic/ground steps
- Lift strengthening and practice
- Freestyle (learning how to lead and follow without a routine)
Swing is a partner dance, so if you have a friend who'd love to learn, bring them with you! I teach all levels, but specifically beginners. Let's get dancing!
