About Jasmine
The sound of a ringing banjo string often guides my own sense of pitch and tone. My 13 years of experience includes holding a BFA from ETSU where I learned the value of listening. I teach teens, hobbyists, and self-taught players who want to build a real structure for their sound. My 201 students have helped me refine how I explain complex concepts like belting or resonance.
I keep things chill. My background allows me to help you navigate genres ranging from pop to classical or musical theater. I stay patient as we work through sight singing and the technical aspects of vocal range extension.

Imagine we are sitting in a quiet room and you are finally hitting those high notes with total ease. We move at your pace to ensure that your pitch control feels natural rather than forced. I provide feedback that helps you manage stage fear by focusing on your breath and physical presence.
As we explore performance confidence, I make sure you have the tools to style your songs according to your own taste. Whether you are struggling with a specific genre or just want to feel more secure in your upper register, we will break it down into manageable parts. I use my experience to help you find your resonance without the typical academic stress.
We look for the groove in every melody to keep the music moving forward. The goal is to make sure you feel prepared and ready to sing. I look forward to hearing your progress as we keep the rhythm steady and the atmosphere light.
