About Erin

I am a secondary school student from Ireland who is passionate about Irish music. I want to spread my knowledge with those who wish to learn. I am a Youth Officer in my local Comhaltas Branch so I have plenty of experience working with young people in this area. I have been playing the fiddle for over 10 years as well as an active participant in the Fleadh Ceoil. I am a member of an U18 ceili band and an U18 grupa ceoil. This year, I was a member of the All Ireland Winning Plearacha team. Teaching others is the next step in my journey!

About the lesson

Hi! I am running Fiddle classes for young people ages 12 and under (or if you are older but a beginner feel free to contact me either!). I will teach them how to play traditional Irish music on the fiddle. I can teach them with letter notes, by ear, or both. Whatever their preference is! I have been playing the fiddle for over 10 years and I am an active member of Comhaltas and Youth Officer in my branch. I take part in ceili bands, grupa ceoils, solo competitions in the Fleadh and won the U18 Pléaracha Na nÓg competition with my branch this year. Typical lessons would be 30 mins long.

It was great to see Erin win her plearacha na nóg All Ireland this year after all her hard hours.
