About Tanya
I am a pre-service teacher in my final year of college, and I work at a public school for experience. I was raised in a Ukrainian household and started attending school in the U.S. with no English knowledge at all. In fourth grade I was recognized as English fluent and now can speak Russian, Ukrainian, and English. I have been learning Spanish for a few years and hope to become fluent in the next few years as well. I love studying languages and want to help students who are learning enjoy it too!

I am working at a public school with many ESL students currently and have become passionate about helping students who don’t speak English as a first language, because I was an English language learner myself growing up.
