About Daisy

Hi there! I am a final-year college student who absolutely loves helping younger students unlock the secrets of maths. I know firsthand that maths can sometimes feel like a completely different language, but my goal is to show you that it is actually just a giant, fun puzzle waiting to be solved. Whether you are in KS1 working on basic numbers or in KS3 tackling trickier algebra, I tailor every single lesson to your unique learning style. I want to teach because I love watching that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept suddenly clicks. Together, we will build your confidence, master your schoolwork, and turn maths into a subject you actually look forward to every week!

About the lesson

Every child learns differently. I adapt my teaching methods to match your child’s unique learning style, making KS1-KS3 maths engaging and easy to understand. I offer patient support to help struggling students catch up and advanced learners fly ahead. My teaching methodology is entirely adaptive; I take the time to deeply understand each individual student's unique learning style and tailor the lessons to exactly how they learn best, making the material relatable and stress-free. Lessons are typically 90 minutes long, providing the ideal amount of time to review core concepts and practise problem-solving without overwhelming the child. I bring over three years of rich, hands-on experience delivering informal tutoring to siblings, cousins, and peers, giving me a strong understanding of how to connect with young learners. This practical experience is backed by solid academic qualifications, including a Grade B in WAEC and a Grade 5 in GCSE Foundation Mathematics—the highest possible grade on that tier—ensuring a proven, flawless mastery of core foundational maths topics.
