About Emilyn
Hey everyone! I'm Emilyn, a final year dental student in Kuala Lumpur. I am a very cheerful & friendly person. People have always find it easy to talk to me because I have pretty good communication skills and I love people!
I have always had a passion for teaching ever since secondary school. In fact, I think it's in my blood as both of my parents are secondary school Bahasa Melayu teachers. I have the utmost respect to teachers. I think it's a very honorable job & it has the ability, power & the opportunity to shape someone else's future by providing and sharing the knowledge that you have to others. And I would love to have the opportunity to do so too ! :)

I always believe that being able to score well in your exams is not just all about studying. It's about studying right & studying smart. It is about understanding the concepts. I usually teach my students with a lot of visuals, a lot of explanations, mind maps, and flow charts as I feel that this help a student to be able to absorb & understand a certain topic better. I love quizzing my students after every topic to make sure they fully grasp the topic and it allows me to identify the topics that I would need to emphasize and focus on more. Length of a lesson would be up to 45 min-1hour
I tutor secondary school students up to SPM for Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Math.
I tutor primary school students for English, Bahasa Melayu , Science and Math.
