About Shahana
Hello! I’m Shahana, a final-year B.Tech Engineering student at CUSAT with a genuine interest in teaching and helping students learn with confidence.
I teach Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology to school students. My approach is friendly, patient, and student-focused. I believe that every student has a different learning pace, so I adapt my explanations according to their needs.
I focus on building strong fundamentals, clear understanding, problem-solving skills, and exam confidence rather than simply memorizing answers.
Whether a student needs help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an exam, completing homework, or revising important concepts, I aim to make every class simple, interactive, and comfortable.
My goal is simple: to help students understand better, learn confidently, and enjoy the learning process.

My Teaching Approach
Learning becomes easier when you understand “why” and “how,” not just “what.” As a final-year B.Tech Engineering student at CUSAT, I enjoy making difficult concepts simple, clear, and interesting for students.
I teach Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology with a focus on strong fundamentals, problem-solving, and exam confidence.
How I Teach
I adapt my teaching style to each student's learning pace and level. My classes include:
Simple concept explanations – Breaking difficult topics into easy-to-understand steps.
️ Practice-based learning – Solving questions together and building problem-solving skills.
Real-life examples – Connecting textbook concepts with everyday situations and practical applications.
Visual learning – Using diagrams, formulas, examples, and easy techniques to make concepts memorable.
Interactive classes – Encouraging students to ask questions and participate instead of simply listening.
Regular revision – Reviewing important concepts and identifying areas that need more practice.
What a Typical Class Looks Like
Each class usually starts with a quick revision of the previous topic. Then, I introduce the new concept in a simple way, explain it with examples, and solve practice questions together.
At the end, we do a short recap and quick assessment to make sure the student has understood the topic. I also provide additional questions for practice when needed.
What Makes My Classes Different?
I believe every student learns differently. My goal is not just to finish the syllabus, but to help students understand concepts, improve their confidence, and develop independent problem-solving skills.
As an engineering student, I can also show students how the concepts they learn in school are connected to technology, engineering, and real-world applications, making subjects more meaningful and interesting.
Most importantly, I am patient, approachable, and happy to explain a concept in different ways until the student feels comfortable with it.
