About Sophie

In the Summer of 2017, I completed my GCSEs and obtained 10 A*s (or equivalent) in Maths, English, Triple Science, French, Geography, Health and Social Care and Religious studies. I completed my A-Levels in summer 2019, obtaining an A* in Biology and a B in Chemistry and Mathematics. I went on to study at the University of Bath, obtaining a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently studying Medicine at the University of Warwick. I offer lessons in GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Health and Social Care and Religious Studies. I also offer A Level Biology lessons, and medical school admissions lessons (see separate ad!)

About the lesson

I adjust my teaching depending on each person's learning style, and what they hope to achieve from our sessions together. Typically, I will begin by going over key content that you want to improve your understanding of, followed by some worked examples of exam questions. I like to use the syllabus for each particular topic as a baseline, to ensure that we are covering everything you could possibly be examined on. Following our coverage of the content, I will include some worked examples of questions, articulating my thought process and method of answering them. Then, we can work on practice questions together, whether that be doing them together, or you doing them and going through the answers together. All my slides and revision aids are made available to you for your own independent learning outside of our sessions.
