About Sarah
About Me I would describe myself as both academic and open-minded. My background is rooted in Economics, Law, and Literature, which has given me a strong analytical methodology while keeping a flexible and creative approach. I enjoy studying economic theories—whether on competition, development, or growth—and I always look for ways to connect them with real-world issues. During high school, I excelled academically and graduated with highest honors, earning top marks in both Economics (17/20) and French (17/20). I later pursued a French preparatory program in Law and Economics, which gave me what I like to call a “magic methodology” for handling all major academic tasks: from essays and dissertations to text or case commentaries. In Literature, I have always been slightly unconventional: while respecting academic standards, I approach texts with freedom and creativity, which has only strengthened my results. Over time, I enriched this with personal readings and a strong interest in oratory art and theater. Though I never studied drama formally, I deeply value the role of voice, style, and creativity in expression. As for Law, I studied both public and private law in France, with a focus on civil law, commercial law, and European business law. I can help with French and European commercial law, especially company law, but I do not teach Québec company law. My training in preparatory classes also taught me to approach legal issues with both rigor and adaptability. Beyond academics, I enjoy sports and theater, which help me keep a balance between discipline and creativity. If you are looking for someone who can combine academic rigor with a positive and engaging approach—whether in writing, oral expression, or critical thinking—I believe you have found the right person.

Teaching Ad (adapted version) Hello! I am currently a final-year Law student, after completing a preparatory program in Law and Economics. My academic background combines French law (with a focus on civil law in Québec) and international economic thought, from classical theories to modern schools such as the Chicago and Harvard approaches. My methodology and techniques As French is my native language, I specialize in teaching French at all levels. My methodology is based on clarity, structure, and interactive learning. I encourage students to ask questions, practice actively, and gradually build confidence. For law and economics, I focus on simplifying complex concepts and linking theory to real-life examples, so that students can better understand and apply what they learn. A typical lesson plan A lesson usually begins with a short review of the previous session, followed by an explanation of the day’s topic. Then we work on exercises, case studies, or discussion activities adapted to the subject (grammar and conversation for French, case analysis for Law, or theory application for Economics). Each lesson ends with feedback and personalized recommendations so that students know exactly what to work on before the next session. What sets me apart as a tutor What makes my lessons unique is my interdisciplinary perspective: combining Law, Literature, and Economics, I make classes both rigorous and engaging. I adapt to each student’s pace and goals—whether the focus is on mastering a language, improving legal reasoning, or exploring international economic theories. Who my lessons are for My courses are open to a wide range of learners: - Students wishing to improve their French (grammar, writing, or oral expression) - Beginners and intermediates in law (Québec - for civil law - or French system) - Learners seeking a deeper understanding of international economic thought (Additionally, I can provide basic support in Spanish if needed.) A personal note I am patient, well-organized, and passionate about teaching—it’s in the family, since my mother used to teach. Whether you are looking for language improvement, academic support, or guidance in law and economics, I will be happy to help you achieve your goals.
