I have worked as a professional note-taker at the university of Sheffield, being able to highlight the main topics in a module for others is a key property for teaching. I have worked as a maths tutor in high school, so I have plenty of experience in reaching people's minds to explain the topic with respect to their level of intelligence. I do engineering now, so maths and physics is a regular thing for me to do on a daily basis.
