About Mahmoud
Hi! I’m Mahmoud, currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Coventry University, I’ve completed my IGCSEs and IB Diploma at BISC.
I have a good background in Mathematics and Physics studying them both at a higher level in IB and applying them daily at University. Being a recent school graduate, I have acquired modern methods of learning and teaching along with systems to manage tasks and time.
I believe that every student has their unique approach to learning and understanding. My goal as a tutor is to guide them in exploring the worlds of mathematics and physics, not to force them to follow my thinking process.
I value connections with students greatly, the teachers that I have learnt the most from were those whom I was friends with, and lessons no longer became daunting tasks, but enjoyable moments.

Hi! I’m Mahmoud, currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Coventry University, I’ve completed my IGCSEs and IB Diploma at BISC.
I promote students to doubt what they are seeing, to ask questions, to try and prove existing theories wrong and their own right, make mistakes and learn from them and, above all, have fun in learning. With previous experience in tutoring I-GCSE students, I can communicate effectively with my students and understand their needs.
Specifically, in applied subjects such as these, I believe it is important for the student to fully understand what it is they are doing. Completing Mathematics at a Higher Level in IB has taught me the importance of this, furthermore, at University a thorough understanding of the theory is essential in solving problems daily.
With the recent move towards online learning, coursework and lab reports are becoming increasingly relevant and important. I am able to help students with this given extensive first-hand experience in scientific report writing at University.
I really enjoy passing on information in a subject that I am passionate about and I believe that the true reward is seeing students understand and be able to apply the theory that they have gained.
