About Lisa
I’m a calm, patient, and approachable person, and I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable steps. I know from experience that subjects like science and psychology can feel overwhelming at times, so I focus on making learning feel more manageable and less stressful.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping people go from confusion to confidence. It’s very rewarding for me to see someone finally understand a topic they’ve struggled with, and I want to bring that support to every student I work with.
Tutoring also aligns with my future career as a doctor, as it helps me develop communication and teaching skills that are essential when explaining medical information to patients. My aim is to make learning clear, supportive, and effective so students can reach their full potential.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether they are aiming to improve their confidence, strengthen their understanding of key topics, or achieve top grades in exams. As a medical student who achieved 3 A*s at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, I understand the challenges students face and the techniques that help them succeed.
I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Lessons will focus on building a strong understanding of concepts before applying knowledge to exam-style questions and developing effective exam technique. I use clear explanations, worked examples, and regular knowledge checks to ensure students make consistent progress and feel confident in their abilities.
