About Sachin
Hi, my name is Sachin and I'm a final-year medical student at the University of Leeds. Joining medical school was one of the best decisions I've made – it is a fascinating field of study that I would highly recommend to anyone with a genuine interest in medicine.
I know how challenging the application process can be – I was in your seat a few years ago – and I remember how useful it was having a tutor to guide me through my own application. Having experienced the UCAT, medical school interviews and the wider application process myself, I understand how overwhelming it can sometimes feel and how valuable the right support can be.
I am a friendly, approachable and patient person, and I enjoy helping others build their confidence and improve over time. I wish to pass on the techniques and advice that helped me succeed, whilst also giving students personalised support that I found so useful when I was applying. My aim is to make the process feel more manageable and prepare students the best I can for their admissions tests and interviews.

Through my medical school application experience, I learnt some useful techniques for the UCAT and interviews that helped me achieve my medical school offer.
With the UCAT being a time-pressured exam, I focus heavily on techniques that help students quickly analyse each question while simultaneously searching for the answer. The UCAT is not a test of pure knowledge, but more of an assessment of how strategically and efficiently you can work within the time limits.
I also aim to help students identify their weaker areas and tailor sessions around these, using practice questions to build both confidence and consistency.
For interviews, based on my own experience, I would teach the key topics medical schools commonly like to assess and create realistic mock scenarios to help you feel as prepared as possible. I have a strong focus on delivering answers in a natural and genuine manner - rather than sounding overly scripted - which interviewers are often quick to recognise.
