About Sam
I am a final year MPhys Physics student at the University of Bath. I thrive in problem-solving and logical-thinking which have always been my strength. I have deep interests in quantum and astrophysics in hopes to work at an space agency or a research facility after my degree. My passion for teaching led me to do sessions weekly with 1st year students helping them with course material and problem sheets. I have found helping others personally helps me understand the material even deeper. Even in school I would have my classmates come to me for help as I explained difficult concepts really well and held multiple lessons in the event of no teacher.
I started teaching my sister while I was in year 8 and soon after finishing my GCSEs I started teaching family friends helping with course material which significantly improved their grade. Since then I have tutored numerous students with GCSE Physics, Maths and Chemistry. I achieved 9 in Maths, A* in Physics and A in chemistry at GCSE. At A Level I got As in Maths and Physics which represents my understanding of the 2 subjects.
I am well aware of the KS3, GCSE and A-Level Specification and have hours of experience in teaching them.
