About Aidan
I have been involved in political lobbying, campaigning and activism for eight years now. This has involved working at a grassroots level with communities, unions and renters unions as well as at a national level through my work as an officer and national delegate. I have been active in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Middle East.
Academically, I am going into my final year of Politics, Philosophy and Economics and am looking to achieve a First Class Honours. I have four A Levels, History (A*) , English Language (A*) , Philosophy (A) and an Extended Project Qualification (A) as well as an AS Level in Sociology (A-94%). I have also completed a Certificate for English Language Teaching for Adults and have used this in both a professional and volunteering capacity.

I prefer to use methods that suit my students. Generally, I prefer to use dialogue centered and interactive approaches instead of a long spiel directed at my students.
I find that if students are able to place themselves in the scenarios that are being learnt, it helps to understand the content a lot better than rehearsing a script by heart. I try to use thought exercises and workshops, informed by my own experience of shaping policy, campaigning and lobbying.
