About Sara

As a penultimate year psychology student at NTU , I am eager to contribute my passion for the field and my unique perspective to support the learning journey of other students.

My academic journey has been characterized by a deep fascination with the intricate workings of the human mind and a commitment to understanding the complexities of human behavior. As a student at NTU, I have had the opportunity to delve into various aspects of psychology, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the discipline. My specialization interests lie in the realms of criminal and forensic psychology, where I am drawn to exploring the psychological mechanisms behind criminal behavior, as well as clinical psychology, where I aim to make a positive impact on individuals' mental well-being.

One distinguishing aspect of my academic profile is that I am set to graduate a semester earlier than my cohort. This accelerated timeline speaks not only to my dedication to academic excellence but also to my eagerness to apply my knowledge in practical settings. Becoming a psychology tutor aligns seamlessly with my aspirations as I believe that teaching is a powerful medium through which I can share my knowledge, foster critical thinking, and inspire a new generation of psychologists.

About the lesson

Instead of a lecture based approach, similar to wht students learn in schools, I adopt an interactive teaching model including visual elements, role plays, quizzes, etc. for students to grasp the matter in an easier manner.

Normal classes would be about 1 to 1.5 hours long

I have worked with children before in a more informal setting and I'm quite good with them in general. I have also tutored my brother during his IGCSE's and IB.

My lessons would benefit students all the way from secondary school to those taking the IB diploma that are studying psychology.
