I am in my final year of studying English and History Joint Honours.
I have previous classroom experience in an English Literature class of Year 7s as well as at A- Level English. I've also worked for Explore Learning this summer, teaching English and Maths to 4-14 year olds.

Teaching is understanding and compassion. I believe that with secondary level students, one on one help is often the most useful. The way I approach teaching is to practice something new together, ensure that it is understood and then encourage the student to try independently. After this, we can analyse the work together and discuss strengths and weaknesses.
