About Tegan
I am a final year university student studying Chinese & business and management at the University of Manchester. I want to teach because as I’ve done many years of studying I understand how tough it can be and I want to help others achieve better results!

I’m a supportive, energetic and engaging teacher who focuses on fun as well as exam technique needed for those higher grades.
I have completed GCSE economics, A level and have done economic modules at university, so I know what it’s like to struggle, adapt, and overcome to understand this tough subject many people, including myself, find difficult.
In terms of Mandarin Chinese, I have completed GCSE, Cambridge Pre-U, HSK4, and have lived and studied in Taiwan for one year for my university studies. I understand what it’s like for a native English speaker to learn such a vastly different and difficult language, something I found my Chinese teachers didn’t understand because they never had to learn it. So if you need someone more patient, emphatic and understanding, then I can help.
I have previous tutoring experience in both subjects, and particularly can help with exam results as this is something I’ve had to work extremely hard at myself to get the grades I’ve got today. Any enquiries feel free to PM!
