I am a 3rd year commerce student at McMaster university, specializing in Finance. Over the years, I have had the chance to work multiple jobs in customer service, and gain valuable communication skills. Through years of sports and work in team settings, I have learned to thrive in collaborative environments toward a common goal.

My teaching methods are simple:
1) Research the content the student is learning
2) Ask the student what they are struggling with, or could use a refresher on
3) Make a study schedule based on the content tested on. This includes independent work, and work with me. Setting goals is a large part of what I believe in, and more than anything I will do my best to keep you or your kids organized, and doing what they can to be better than yesterday at their given class.
4) Meet to review progress, address any questions, and check in with how the student is feeling. How you are feeling is especially important. I'm not just here to teach, but to provide the support needed to succeed.
5) Have fun. It's such a cliché, but math can be fun. I never appreciated it until university, but the objectivity of math can be entertaining. If you are here just to get a good grade however, I will do my best to help you trudge through the (math) mud.
