About Joseph

I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of
Nigeria, an Associates of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN)
and Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered), full member Institute of
Fraud Examiner, holds an MBA with specialisation in International Business from
Lagos State University, Ojoo Lagos. He is also an alumni of Lagos Business
School (LBS)- Senior Management Programme 2006.
He has over 25 years cumulative work experience spanning across the Trading,
manufacturing, IT, Engineering, Real Estate, FCMG and Consulting sector.
Joseph held strategic positions such as Group Chief Financial Officer, Finance
Manager, Head of Finance, Financial Accountant and Senior Consultant. He
currently holds the following positions:
1. Joseph Banjo Agboola & Co (Chartered Accountants)- Managing Partner
2. Femi Davies & Co (Chartered Accountants)- Tax Consultants
3. Asoft Consulting Limited- Managing Consultant
4. Tedanib Enterprises- Managing Director/CEO

• Highly Skilled in Peachtree Accounting, Sage, QuickBooks, Tally, Dac-easy,
System specs’ Human Manager Payroll Software, and some other robust
Accounting software

Analysis, Financial Engineering, Financial Modelling/advanced Ms Excel

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on the following strategies
1. Student-Centered Discussions
I admit that I do enjoy being the "sage on the stage" in my classroom, but I realize that this does little to engage my students in deep thinking. I want my students to be at the center of their learning.
2. Making Connections
It is absolutely essential that teachers help students make connections to their learning. Real-life connections make learning interesting and relevant for students.
3. Building Relationships
Building relationships in the classroom is extremely powerful for students' behavioral and academic success. Teachers can help build relationships by meeting with students during office hours and creating team-building projects
4. A Focus on Literacy
I'm always trying to improve my students' reading always trying to improve my students' reading. Providing students with reading material that interests them and helps them to understand the joys of reading for pleasure. I make sure my classroom is well-stocked with books I know young adults enjoy.
