About Kapil

I have a very sound understanding of financial subjects and a natural flair for teaching. I am a highly experienced financial industry professional and investment banker with a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share with aspiring finance professionals. In my teaching assignments, I am able to draw on years of experience working in the finance industry to provide students with real-world examples and insights that enhance their learning experience. I share my knowledge of financial management techniques, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, to help students develop the skills they need to succeed in the world of finance. I also teach investment management courses, helping students to develop a deep understanding of portfolio management, security analysis, and risk management. And with my experience as a CFA charterholder, I am well-equipped to teach CFA courses, preparing students to pass this challenging certification exam and succeed in their careers.

About the lesson

My classes generally include most or all of the following elements: 1. Real-world examples: I draw from my in-depth experience in the financial services industry to teach by using real-world examples, such as current events or case studies, which can help students to see how financial concepts are applied in practice. 2. Interactive session: Finance is a subject that lends itself well to interactive learning. Activities such as group projects, simulations, and problem-solving exercises can help students to engage with the material and deepen their understanding. 3. Emphasis on application: Finance has practical implications for individuals and businesses. I emphasize the practical application of financial concepts, such as investing strategies or financial planning. 4. Critical thinking and active participation – I adopt an active participation and live problem-solving approach to encourage my students to think deeply about financial concepts and to articulate their ideas and thought processes. 5. Feedback and assessment: This can help students to identify areas for improvement and to gauge their progress over time.
