About Jess
I am a Financial Mathematics graduate from Loughborough university now taking the time to train as a professional athlete. I am very passionate about the subject I studied at degree level and would like to channel this passion into teaching others. Throughout my life I have tutored a number of individuals both at GCSE level and A-Level.

I approach each topic by trying to think outside of the box and get the student to understand why each process happens rather than just the process. This allows to build knowledge week on week and understand the subject rather than just learn it. Of course this is integrated within lots of exam style questions as the students must be able to know and use the required 'steps' and 'key words' to tap into the mark scheme well. Both maths and economics are fascinating subjects waiting to be explored!
