About Chris
I’ve worked in technical research and science communication positions across the US and Canada for over 10 years.
Projects have ranged from energy analysis for microgrid development, to remote sensing of wetlands, to bioinformatics and quantitative ecology, to agriculture and compost design.
I use a mix of STEM practices every day, and feel comfortable grounding hard concepts in real-world examples.
Outside of work, I’ve played music since I was a child. It's brought me joy, expression, and calm over the years regardless of what else is going on in life.
I play and perform jazz, rock, funk, RnB, experimental, and ambient music across a variety of instruments.
What matters most to me when teaching or sharing music is helping people find their voice or the next step on their journey!
