About Phoebe
Training in professional dance for 4 years and then working professionally for 4 years, I have been aware of how to move the body safely and with awareness for many years before my Yoga teacher training.
Throughout lockdown, I have taught many students online and helped many people of all levels become more flexible, stronger, more focussed and happier in their everyday life.
I wish for nothing more than for everyone to experience and fall in love with Yoga, I believe it can help every single person as there are so many different paths, no matter your ability, body shape/size, religion, gender.
Let me help you find the peace within yourself, it is already there, you just need to listen.

I am a professional performer in Musical Theatre and have always had a passion for learning how to keep a healthy mind as well as a healthy body to benefit not just us, but for those around us, near and far.
I gained my 200 hour teacher training qualification in Hatha + Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in Rishikesh, India - the Capital of the Yoga World. During this time, we also covered anatomy, mantra, meditation, philosophy + ayurveda. I am still learning from my teacher's in India, constantly gaining new nuggets of vital information that I feel I must pass on to those who are wanting a better, more peaceful way of living.
I am able to give a very traditional Indian Yoga class but also able to modify for beginner's or those of a slightly higher level.
I also offer Pranayama (yogic breathing techniques) + Meditation sessions. Becoming completely aware of your breath, re-training your bad breathing habits, and making your breath longer, deeper and completely controlled has multiple health benefits - for both your body and mind.
My typical yoga class consist of:
- first, sitting, bringing your attention inwards and calming the mind
- quick warming up of the joints
- sun salutations - to warm up the entire body, increase heart rate, and to synchronise movement + breath
- asana's (postures) specific to what you want to achieve (standing, sitting + laying)
- shavasana (relaxation)
- short pranayama technique (breathing)
- give thanks
I always make sure I keep the philosophy and the real purpose of Yoga at the forefront of your mind as we practise together, always honouring where the sacred practise came from.
