There’s no better way to say “I LOVE YOU” than to learn the language of the one you love! What if that language is Afrikaans? That’s where I come in. Hi, I’m Elmari, and I teach people how to embrace Afrikaans. I don’t only want to make it endearing to them, but also make it easier to connect and share what’s in their heart… Or head. Be it for business, legal, education, travel, romance and love… or any other reason. I work with English-speaking people of all ages and abilities to make Afrikaans feel like home. Whether a beginner, intermediate or advanced speaker? All are perfect! We all deserve to feel secure as we learn, therefore I’ll be your biggest supporter. In my one-to-one sessions from anywhere in the world, we focus on real-life conversations, not just grammar drills or memorization… you get to learn what actually means something in Afrikaans. No two paths look the same, so we tailor the learning to your needs… with support, kindness, and a little bit of fun, we work together… at YOUR pace, step by step. In my style of teaching, it’s okay to ask questions, to make mistakes, and make it play, not hard work! Whether ordering a coffee, writing for school or business, or chatting with loved ones… with my guidance, Afrikaans can start to feel like a primary language. Speak with ease! Listen to understand! Think in Afrikaans, rather than English first. Let’s make Afrikaans feel like home.
