This is an exciting new singing teacher! She not only has a most lovely singing voice herself, but she inspires her students to find their own individual voice . Her approach is based on relaxation, and an appreciation of beauty. She has an excellent sense of pitch, rhythm and harmony, and her gentle, natural, and persuasive style of teaching soon has her students delighting in their own progress .

I love Mary-Anne’s singing group. She selects classical and world music and uses lots of harmony techniques and it all really resonates with me. The emphasis is on finding warmth and fulfilment in our individual voices and although I’m not looking to be a professional singer, this is giving me a way to perform and improve and feel the experience of singing with others.

I sing in a community choir led by Mary Anne. There are no auditions for entry. Many members do not read music and are not experienced singers. Mary Anne is an extraordinarily talented musician and an inspirational teacher. She is ambitious in her goals for the choir and has sung and recorded all of the different parts of each song so that we can each practice our individual parts. She also challenges people to sing outside their usual range. The results are excellent. Mary Anne records the sessions and sends them to us, praising our achievements. She is also kind and caring. People really enjoy coming to choir and being taught by Mary Anne. She would be fantastic as a singing tutor.

I attend Mary-Anne's holistic, natural voice choir and come away feeling much more connected not only to my voice, but to my whole body and the world around me. She has a kindness and a great wisdom about her which helps to open up my voice as well as my being!

Mary-Anne is a fantastic singing teacher working holistically with her students to help them find and unleash their own unique voice. Her own vocal repertoire and range is truly impressive and with all her experience of performing she has helped me regain my love of singing after many years of failed attempts. Highly recommended.

Mary-Anne is a warm and friendly singing teacher. I joined her singing class a couple of months ago as a complete amateur and love her enthusiastic approach and clear talent for singing
