About Amaya
I’m a vocal coach with a Graduate Certificate in Vocal Coaching and more than 2 years of hands-on teaching experience. My focus is on vocal health, safe technique, and long-term voice care. I work with singers recovering from vocal strain and those seeking to strengthen their sound without tension. My lessons blend scientific understanding with artistic freedom, helping students develop resilience and confidence. I teach breath management, resonance alignment, and vocal hygiene techniques to maintain consistent tone and stamina. Whether it’s Classical, Sacred, A Cappella, or Barbershop, I adapt exercises to suit each style’s unique demands. My goal is to help students unlock their voice’s full potential safely and sustainably. I have supported professional vocalists and public speakers in regaining vocal balance after fatigue. Every exercise is designed to be gentle yet effective, ensuring comfort while building skill. I guide students to recognize early signs of strain and correct habits before damage occurs. My sessions promote both awareness and musical expression. Singing should feel natural, not forced, and that belief shapes every lesson. Together, we explore how to sing freely, confidently, and healthily.

My teaching method centers on helping singers find accuracy, confidence, and musicality in their voice. I combine vocal training with ear development to create a complete approach to singing. Each session includes listening exercises, interval identification, and pitch-matching games. I help students understand harmony by layering voices and guiding them through chord awareness. Quartet players benefit from learning to balance their sound while maintaining individuality. Advanced teens are encouraged to expand their range, refine their control, and strengthen their inner ear. I believe that every singer can learn to sing perfectly in tune through guided practice. My lessons are gentle but detailed, offering constant feedback to fine-tune each note. We work on breathing and resonance to make singing easier and more expressive. I teach students how to recognize when they are sharp or flat and how to correct it instantly. Through repetition and musical challenges, their ear becomes sharper and more reliable. My goal is to make ear training fun and practical for real performance situations. Every student leaves class more confident, precise, and joyful in their singing.
