About Leslie
My name is Leslie Kiesler. I am a professional artist living in the PNW. I trained under the tutelage of Juliette Aristides for four years, starting with a year of mastering drawing before I was allowed to paint. I have a passion for sharing my knowledge of drawing and painting as I firmly believe everyone can draw and we all need creative outlets. I hope you'll take this journey with me as I am so excited to work with you!

I use the time tested methods of the 19th century French ateliers to bring a new understanding of seeing to each student. From drawing to painting, whether you are a beginner or you want to polish your skills, I have the training and tools necessary to help.
I believe learning to draw is the foundation of fine art making and that anyone can learn. Beginners start here, mastering line, form, and value.
Already drawing and painting but feel like you need some guidance or another pair of eyes? I can pinpoint problem areas and how to adjust your technique for greater success.
Lessons will be tailored for each student and their individual goals. The first lesson will be a short time to get to know you and what you want to achieve. After this, I will make a lesson plan and we will jump right in from there!
From understanding how to use a pencil to painting a still life, I have the knowledge, training, and passion to share everything I know with you. Everyone is welcome!
