About Maya
I’m a dedicated and supportive Maths and Science tutor who genuinely cares about helping students succeed. I understand how overwhelming school can feel, especially when things don’t click straight away, so I create a calm, patient space where you can learn at your own pace without pressure.
I’ve achieved strong GCSE results and have experience explaining topics in a simple, clear way that actually makes sense. Students often find it easier to learn with me because I’m approachable, understanding, and able to adapt to different learning styles, including those who struggle with focus.
I teach because I truly enjoy helping others grow in confidence and realise their potential. Seeing my students go from feeling stuck to feeling capable and proud of themselves is the most rewarding part for me.
