About Noreen
Hi! My name is Noreen, and I have a degree in Biomedical Engineering. I’m passionate about science, technology, and mathematics, and I love helping students understand these subjects in a clear and practical way. I want to teach because I enjoy seeing students gain confidence, solve challenging problems, and discover how exciting STEM subjects can be. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and tailored to each student’s needs, whether that’s mastering the basics, preparing for exams, or exploring topics in more depth. Outside of teaching, I’m curious about new developments in engineering and healthcare technology, which helps me bring real-world examples into my lessons. I’m committed to helping my students not just achieve good grades, but also develop the skills and curiosity that will benefit them long-term.

Tutoring Session Structure:
1. Learning Style Assessment (Optional):
• At the beginning, you can choose to take a quick test to help identify your learning style.
• If you skip it, we can discuss your short-term and long-term goals instead.
2. Goal Setting:
• We’ll clarify what you want from the tutoring sessions and identify the areas where you need the most support.
3. Topic Review:
• We’ll review what you’ve covered in class so far and pinpoint specific areas you find challenging.
• We’ll create a focused revision plan for those topics.
4. Mini-Quiz:
• Before starting the detailed revision, you’ll take a short quiz on the topic to help identify the exact areas where you need help.
5. Tailored Lesson:
• I will explain the topic in a way that suits your learning style.
• At the end of the session, I’ll provide a few follow-up questions and YouTube resources for independent practice.
6. Follow-Up Sessions:
• If you book a second session, we’ll start by reviewing the previous worksheet.
• Once full understanding is achieved, we’ll move on to the next topic and repeat the process.
• We can also discuss recent class topics or continue reviewing earlier topics as needed.
