About Eleanor
My name is Eleanor, and I am a personable and patient GCSE Maths tutor who adapts each lesson to suit the individual pace and learning style of my students. I offer lessons for students of any age looking to improve their maths at GCSE level or below, whether that’s building confidence, strengthening core skills, or preparing for exams.
Academically, I achieved a First Class degree from a Russell Group university, alongside A*A*B at A-Level and 7 A* grades and 3 A grades at GCSE.

I aim to explain mathematical concepts in a clear and concise manner, helping students build confidence and understanding without feeling overwhelmed. Lessons are focused around the areas students find most challenging, ensuring we focus on improving weaker topics while strengthening overall ability. I also encourage students to bring any specific questions or topics they would like to cover in a session, so lessons remain flexible, supportive, and tailored to their needs.
My lessons are typically one hour long, though I’m happy to accommodate shorter or longer sessions in 15 minute intervals on request.
