About Jessica

Hi, I’m Jess. I studied Economics from A-Level through to completing a First Class degree, and I now work in tax. Economics has always been a subject I genuinely enjoyed because it helps you understand how the world works, from everyday decisions to big global issues.
I want to teach because I know how much of a difference the right support can make. I remember what it felt like sitting in your position, trying to get my head around new concepts and wanting to do well. I enjoy breaking down difficult topics into simple, logical steps and seeing that moment when something finally clicks.
My goal is not just to help you improve your grades, but to help you feel confident, capable and in control of the subject.

About the lesson

In Economics tutoring, I focus on helping you properly understand the content and apply it confidently in exams. I studied Economics from A-Level through to completing a First Class Economics degree, so I have been in your position and understand how challenging some topics can feel and what it takes to achieve top grades.
I can help you get to grips with tricky areas as well as master diagrams and use them effectively in your answers. We will work on building strong chains of analysis, improving your evaluation, and working on exam technique so you can reach the top bands. I also use past paper practice and mark schemes to make sure you know exactly what examiners are looking for.
With my degree background, I can also help you think beyond the syllabus and support you if you are considering studying Economics at university in the future. My aim is to build your confidence, sharpen your exam technique and help you achieve the best grade possible.
