About Estelle
Hi! I've tutored local students in maths and physics for the last couple of years! I did the accelerated program at The University of Edinburgh, in which I completed two years of my degree in only a year, and I achieved straight firsts. I attended KCLMS, often ranked the best sixth form in the country. This is a highly selective maths sixth form, with an incredible quality of teaching! Although A-levels were canceled for my year group, I achieved A*s on every maths and further maths exam! I also won a national economics essay competition, awarded by the Bank of England and so I'm able to help with learning how to articulate mathematical ideas!

I'm looking to teach GCSE students that want to be stretched and challenged, and have an extensive collection of interesting problems and puzzles which help talented students fulfill their potential! I also have experience tutoring students who just want help going over the basics. My philosophy in teaching is we start from the basics and derive why everything else works! I find this helps students understand WHY something works and helps them feel more comfortable using it!

Estelle tutored me in GCSE physics and maths. I originally was not very confident in my abilities but with Estelle's help I achieved 9s. I found her helpful as she was able to provide multiple ways to understand difficult concepts.
