About Katie
My name is Katie, I'm a recent graduate from the University of Exeter, looking to support you in achieving the best possible grades in your school exams. I have always loved and have been passionate about geography and history, which is why I have chosen to teach these subjects. Outside of academia, I love spending time with my friends, I am an avid netball player, swimmer and runner, I have also spent the last 6 years working at a local waterpark and I'm also a lover of travelling and seeing the world, having spent my third year of university living in Australia. I'm a hardworking, caring and confident individual who understands the struggles of school and how tricky these subjects can be, but I will use my knowledge and experience to support you to achieve your best.

I am a friendly, knowledgeable individual who approaches all sessions with a positive, calming attitude. My lessons will be focused on developing students' subject knowledge, exam techniques and ensuring students feel confident in the topics we cover. The topics that students highlight to me as ones will be focused on to ensure they can enhance their ability. As a conscientious, hard-working individual I know what it takes to succeed through education, and have an understanding of how each student needs different approaches in order to excel academically, and I bring this level of subjectivity into my lessons. The lessons will typically be 50 mins long, to ensure that topics can be deeply covered rather than brushed over. I am a highly excelling student who achieved all grades 9-7 at GCSE, A/A* in my A levels and most recently a First Class Degree in Geography from the University of Exeter. My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A level Geography and History students of any ability.
