About Cian

Hi there! My name is Cian Kissane. I'm a 2nd year Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Galway. I sat my Leaving Cert in Kerry in 2024, getting 600+ points, before moving to Galway for college last year.
Despite studying Engineering, I've always been interested in teaching, taking several Teaching Assistant and tutoring jobs during my time in Secondary School. I believe everyone has the potential to do well in Maths, as long as they're taught in a way that suits them. That's what I aim to do with my grinds. My tutoring method will change to accommodate the way you learn best.

About the lesson

I offer one-to-one grinds online, or in person. I can do house calls, or meet at a site on the University campus.
The grinds are tailored to you, whatever topics or subjects are giving you the most trouble, I will work to help you understand the fundamentals, and give you exam-oriented tips and tricks to give you the best possible chance at a H1.
We can look at specific chapters in your textbook, working through difficult problems in each topic, or - closer to exam time - we can do a broader, exam-paper focused crash course of the entire subject.
