About Finn
I am a first-class honors graduate in Education and Training from Dublin City University and I will begin a Master's in Primary Teaching in September. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of how children learn and how to support their progress in a patient, effective and encouraging way.
Alongside this, I have extensive experience teaching and coaching children through taekwondo as a multiple-time World and European ITF Taekwondo Champion. Working with young people in both educational and coaching settings has helped me develop strong communication skills, professionalism, patience and the ability to build confidence in every student I work with.
I take a calm, supportive and well-structured approach to lessons, always aiming to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated and capable. I understand the importance of being reliable, prepared and professional, and I work hard to make each lesson clear, engaging and suited to the individual needs of the student.

My approach is calm, structured and encouraging. I aim to build a child’s confidence first, then improve their skills step by step. I adapt each lesson to the student’s age, level and learning style, focusing on clear explanations, patience and steady progress. I use a mix of guided practice, questioning, repetition and positive reinforcement to keep students engaged and help them feel comfortable asking questions.
A typical lesson lasts 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the student’s age and attention span. Lessons usually include a short review, focused work on one or two key areas, and a recap at the end so students leave feeling clear and confident.
I have a first-class honors degree in Education and Training from DCU and I will begin a Master's in Primary Teaching in September. I also have extensive experience teaching and coaching children through Taekwondo as a multiple-time World and European Champion. This has given me strong skills in communication, patience, discipline and helping young people build confidence.
My lessons are mainly for primary school children, especially those who need support with homework, literacy, numeracy, organization and confidence with learning. They are suitable for children who benefit from a patient, supportive and well-structured approach.
