About Alina
I am a Mathematics graduate with First Class Honours from the University of Leeds, as well as a qualified teacher with a genuine passion for helping students succeed in Maths.
I have been tutoring since completing my GCSEs and have experience supporting students across a wide range of abilities. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps and helping students build both confidence and independence in their learning.
My motivation for teaching comes from seeing the real impact it can have on a student’s confidence and future opportunities. Supporting that progress and helping students reach their potential is what drives my teaching.

My approach to tutoring begins with identifying each student’s current level through initial assessments and targeted questioning. From there, I create a focused plan, working through both the topics I’ve identified and any areas the student brings, ensuring they build strong understanding and confidence.
I offer lessons for students aged 11–18, with sessions lasting 60 minutes or longer depending on the package selected. I have a strong track record of helping students significantly improve, including successfully supporting students to increase their grades by up to three levels.
